Directions to make VEENUS’ Arisi Upma:-

Ingredients

  1.   ½ cup Veenus Instant Upma Mix ·
  2.   1 table spoon ghee/ oil ·
  3.      ¼ spoon mustard ·
  4.     1 table spoon chana dal ·
  5.    1 table spoon urad dal ·
  6.     6 cashews halved and cleaned ·
  7.   1 spring curry leaves ·
  8.     1 green chilly slit ·
  9.     ½ table spoon ginger very fine chopped ·
  10.       2 cup water ·
  11.    Lemon juice ·
  12.    Little chopped fresh green coriander

PROCESS

  1. Take a pan add oil/ghee, add urad dal, chana dal, mustard, cashews.
  2. Fry until it turn golden.
  3. Add ginger, curry leaves and green chilly.
  4. Stir and sauté for 2 mins.
  5. Add VEENUS’ Instant Upma Mix and roast it for couple of minutes.
  6. Pour lukewarm water and salt as per taste.
  7. Bring the water to boil and stir the mix in the water, to avoid lumps.
  8. Cover and cook on a low flame until the water evaporates as it may take around 4 minutes.
  9. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  10. Sprinkle coriander and serve hot.
